Today, the paper ““Modelling the impact of sub-grid scale emission variability on upper-air concentration” by S. Galmarini, J.-F. Vinuesa, and A. Martilli has been recognized as “Best peer-reviewed paper 2008″ by the Institute for Environment and Sustainability (Joint Research Centre, European Commission)
I joined the University of Georgia at Athens (GA, U.S.A.) as a visiting researcher on November 3.
I was in Stockholm for the AMS-BLT conference.

“Dynamic LES Modeling of a Diurnal Cycle” by Sukanta Basu, Jean-François Vinuesa and Andrew Swift has been published in the Journal of Applied Meteorology and Climatology.
“Dynamic Models for the Subgrid-Scale Mixing of Reactants in Atmospheric Turbulent Reacting Flows” by Jean-François Vinuesa and Fernando Porté-Agel has been published in the Journal of the Atmospheric Sciences.
